Remove Text Chat bind key to Enter key

Summary

Hello,

Since one week or two, the Enter key is forced bind to the Text Chat.
I use the Enter key as my main action button (grab weapon, etc.). I don’t care about the Text Chat, but despite my Enter key is bind to the action button in the configuration, it just open this useless Text Chat.

The issue raise last year and was fixed.
But now the bug appears again!!
I’m not alone, I’ve seen other people with the same issue again!

Please fix this, remove this useless Text Chat that nobody cares…
For me, Fortnite is just unusable without my Enter key!

I have the same issue. I use enter for edit and have done for years. Games currently unplayable for me.

I have the same problem. It is still not fixed! really frustrating

this has been going on since the 10th of january and still not fixed even today with the new season! i will not be buying the new battle pass untill this is fixed! do EPIC really think this is fair? its an absolute joke even when talking to support with them saying they dont know when it will be fixed, well over 2 months i and others have waited, just how many more months do EPIC exspect us to WAIT!! what i cannot understand is this happend back in December 2024 and they fixed it in 2 weeks!

This has been going on for over 2 months now!! myself & others have not been able to play since the update on the 10th of January. Its funny that when this issue started back in December 2024 it was fixed 2 weeks later! Do EPIC really think this is fair? I have reported this issue so many times & all I get is they know about it but cannot say when it will be fixed!

HOW MUCH LONGER ARE WE EXPECTED TO WAIT?

I would appreciate a response from someone as this is now getting ridiculous!!

ps. It’s pointless me purchasing the NEW battle pass as I still cannot play.

Still ongoing, makes it impossible for left handed people to play if they use the enter jey.
