Hello!
Looking to utilize the lighting only in an HDRI environment, and remove the associated skydome image. (see example) I just want this to have a blank background. How do I do this?
Google has yielded no results, thank you in advance!
Did you try using the HDR in the skylight only ( it has a slot for that )?

When I want a white background or anything else, I create it myself.
Here’s a small JPEG showing you where I paste the HDRI file.
That being said, I don’t know if this answers your question.

Quand je veux un fond blanc ou autre je me le fabrique.
Un petit jpeg qui te montre ou je colle le fichier Hdri.
Cela étant, je ne sais pas si je réponds à ton problème.
