Reimporting doesn't work.

In any of the projects I have made, I have been unable to reimport assets to update changes made outside of the editor. I have to delete the asset first and then import it to make it work. My c: drive is my main drive with windows 8 installed. The Unreal engine is installed on a separate drive. Is there something I could do other than installing the engine on C: to solve this issue?

Hi Aaron,

There have been known issues with re-importing that has long been reported. We’ve recently made great strides with a new auto-re-importing feature that can help with things like this.

This will be released with 4.8 (which is currently available via the Master Branch on GitHub, but it not fully tested by QA since it’s being actively developed).
