I am also having this issue
Not sure if it makes any difference, but fixed point camera device seems to cause it in my instance. It also messes up any verse devices it references.
I’m having the same problem.
Even in my .uefnproject and .uplugin files, experimental is set to false,
but ever since the latest update, I keep getting the message that experimental features are enabled,
and I’m unable to publish my island because of it.
Okay, I just noticed that it only works after uploading another version.
I’ve uploaded two new versions the first one can be published, but the second one can’t.
So it seems that it’s only possible to publish if you upload two versions, and only the first one can be used.
Glad you got it sorted. One of our programmers had something for you to try:
Try changing something in the project (move an asset, turn a setting on or off) to make sure it triggers an actual cook. And it might be useful to compare the .uefnproject files for the 2 projects: are there any differences between the one which publishes and the one which doesn’t?
I didn’t notice any changes in the .uefnproject file it looks the same.
What I’ve noticed is that it takes some time before publishing works.
I uploaded three private versions for testing. When you upload a version and try to publish it right away, it doesn’t work it says experimental features are enabled.
I then uploaded a fourth version, and the same error appeared.
But when I checked version 3 again a few minutes later, the message was gone.
So it seems you just need to wait a few minutes (around 5) before the error disappears and publishing becomes possible.
