Regression - Having rotate snap disabled doesnt work anymore

Summary

When we had the rotate snap disabled before its like free rotate now its always the snap size

Disabled rotate snap and see it still snaps

Expected Result

It should disable any snap and let me free rotate it

Its broken and is annoying now

Just tested here and I dont see that here, not sure how its happening for you. Have you restarted UEFN?

Yep still the same idk whats happening :frowning: its annoying tho

I can’t replicate the issue on my side as well. I tried the old Gizmos, but they don’t seem to cause the issue… :person_shrugging:

Weird maybe someone at epic can get my uefn data and check it out

I can reproduce and my solution for now is disable Object Snapping To Surfaces.

Disable both:

I was finally able to reproduce the bug. Here are the steps:

  1. In the Editor Settings, under Legacy Gizmo, check Enable Legacy.

  2. Enable Surface Snapping.
  3. Enable Rotate to Surface Normal.

The above will cause rotation snapping to take effect even when it is disabled.

The workaround is basically to have one of the above disabled.
