First time asking a question for unreal! I’m having some problems with refraction not showing past a certain point on my viewport and it is especially bad if I’m messing with the field of view. When I change the view angle the position of the cutoff changes. I’ve tried everything I can think of. I will attempt to attach a screenshot and link to the content (too large to attach). Thank you.
CAMERA SETTINGS:

MATERIAL SETTINGS:

BLUE WATER COLOR (0079FF00)
OPACITY 0.5
REFRACTION 1.33 (WATER)
I am having some problems reconstructing your example above. I have your assets and have placed the camera the designated spot but I do not know how you have aligned you water mesh or cube? Could you include the *umap file that has all of these items setup in it?
Of course. I’ve added an example on the eventbeginplay so clicking play might show off the problem I’m seeing. If you change the refraction higher the cutoff effect seems to get much worse too. Thank you.
Thank you for the additional assets it was much easier to reproduce. I have submitted a bug report for this behavior. It does appear that moving FOV and Cameras cause some issues with Refraction. For reference the bug report is UE-17511. As we investigate this issue further I will keep you informed.
