Reflections from Translucent Objects

We’re not getting any reflections generated from translucent objects. Is there some trick to getting this work?

Im also wondering how… It seems one needs to blend opacity to 50% to get something at least… which is just WRONG.

I have used an hrdi with a reflection vector node before to get something close, but otherwise I believe this is still a “no”.

I’m finding even with opacity set to 100, no reflections will be generated. Using a masked or opaque material works but not translucent.

Just wondering if anyone has found a way to achieve this yet (or at-least confirm that it definitely is not supposed to work?). It’s causing us quite a few problems now.
