Reflection issue UE 5.1

Hello everybody,

I am a yacht exterrior designer. I bought clear sky bp and cinematic ocean on marketplace and create an enviroment. Reflective surfaces (glass, fiber, metals) on the yacht do not reflect bp materials. I watched many videos on youtube and tried, but none of the solutions were correct. Is there a way I can capture reflections naturally?

Using lumen and ray tracing.

If you have to work (as in get paid for) I suggest you go back to 4.2something.
Particularly any nvidia custom branch with ray tracing.

5.1 rendering is a total mess.

That said. Add reflection captures or set up for ray traced capture.

Or, since a yact is on the ocean, and the reflections likely dont need to be ‘live’…
Use an hdri image as the base color which will (with work) look like a reflection.

Even cube maps can be put into materials manually, instead of relying on reflections…
