Recording real camera focal data into unreal

Hi all, new to a lot, so apologies if there’s an obvious answer to this. I’m trying to set up a virtual production project where we plan to shoot green screen for realtime compositing of an unreal environment. And I’m wondering if anyone has had any experience in capturing focus data from a real world camera and passing it to unreal, so that synced changes in the virtual depth of field is possible in a real time sense? Is such a thing possible? Any advice/help greatly appreciated
