When recording using the in sequence take recorder, we would expect to be able to control where the recording starts. We tried all of the take recorder options but none of them seemed to have any effect, the sequence always resets to 0 when recording.
Steps to Reproduce
Create a level sequence.
Add an actor to it.
Set the start frame to 1001, end to 2000.
Click the actor track.
Press the bottom left record button in sequencer.
The recording starts from 0, and even modifies the working frame range to be 0, instead of starting at 1001
Yes, that has been a feature request that sadly got pushed out into 5.8. I’ll ping the Product Manager about it to remind them. For now, you will just have to temporarily set the In Point of the sequence to where you want to start recording.
