Reconstruction Region resets during ortho projection rendering

Hello all -

I’m having issues with the Ortho Projection function resetting the Reconstruction Region to an earlier region. Here’s my workflow:

  • Align images, calculate model, create texture
  • Mesh Model → Set Reconstruction Region → Set Region on Reconstruction
  • Select points on building facade to create region parallel to building face (for accurate orthos). Adjust box accordingly to encompass entire building
  • Workflow → Ortho Projection
    • Settings:
      • Type: Arbitrary
      • Info: local:1 - Euclidean
      • Rendering Method: True ortho from a textured model
      • Width/Height estimated
      • Ortho pixel size: 0.00200
    • Select elevation - select top left node
    • Render
  • Once rendered, the Ortho Projection is clearly pulled from a different plane. This is reflected in the Ortho photo and in the 3D view, which shows that the region has reset after rendering.

Is this a known bug? Are there workarounds? Ortho Projection creation is the only reason I use RealityScan, so this is a big issue for me.
