Recommended PBR Colours in sRGB or Linear?


Are PBR guideline colours in sRGB or Linear space?

For example, it is recommended to make an asphalt texture with a median luminosity of ‘92’, but I’m not sure if that is in sRGB space or not. If I make an asphalt texture in Photoshop following those guidelines, will I then have to use the sRGB checkbox in UE4’s texture settings? I just want to make sure that I don’t double-correct anything.

Albedo > srgb

roughness/metal/anything black/white or grayscale > rgb

combined masks in rgb channels > rgb.
