Summary
I have received disturbing emails stating a public release has been rejected. Today I received an email stating a public release for one of my maps failed. I immediately starting looking into it as I did not have any private versions pending release and have not for over a month. I checked the email and it listed the private island code that was rejected. Looking at the project I see the island code it was referring to was one of the first ever private versions submitted that was rejected due to including attributions counting as linking off site? “Keep it on the island” which is confusing in it self because how to you attribute without linking to the content as required. Any way I went back in my emails and confirmed I had already received an email for this over a month ago. Is this a side-effect of rolling back certain systems or should I be concerned? The map is still active and the current published version uses a private version that is several ahead of the old rejected private version. This is a massive concern as I don’t want the map to get disabled for not responding, but it’s extremely unclear if there is even an issue.
Steps to Reproduce
Cross verify the private island code included in the email is indeed corresponding to an older not used already rejected private version.
Expected Result
Would expect not to receive a rejection email when nothing is in review, and especially not for a past private version that already failed review.
Observed Result
Received rejection email that doesn’t correlate to current version and is unclear if action needs to be taken.
