I installed Unreal 5 from github and edited some plugins, in particularly enabled the water plugin.
Then I restarted the editor but it said it had to be rebuilt from visual studio…
So I went to visual studio and in “Development Editor” right clicked it and clicked “build”
and it’s 114/3329 rn… I feel I did smth wrong…
I… It just doesn’t feel right that for a single plugin it seems to be rebuilding it all or smth like that… I just want to know if this is normal?
TLDR: Do you need to rebuild the editor each time u change plugins?
While we’re at it… has anyone tried out the “Blueprint Snap Nodes Prototype”? Cuz I was planning on testing it cuz curious but if the above is the case I DEF will not!
edit: for some context when I created the project it didn’t take long at all… so it feels weird that it has 3k steps at a speed of roughly 1 step every 10 seconds due to plugin changes…
