Realtime 360 Possible?

Hey! So my name is Lucas and I am working at Virginia Tech on a project that included 360 rendering. Normally, we are simply rendering out movies or images, but we were hoping for a way to have a realtime system. I have a decent amount of experience with UE$, but only in the art side, not enough to program something like this. Does anyone know of any way to do realtime 360 rendering at a decent FPS?

I wouldn’t get your hopes up. Whilst such a thing is theoretically possible, I’ve yet to see it done anywhere. You’d need a dedicated rendering path in the engine to do this, it’s no mean feat.
