I am making an Archiviz, and I would like to know, can you replace the default reflections that are based on what you see\cubemaps, and make the engine calculate reflections in real time?
I tried using SSR, but it changed absolutely nothing.
SSR only reflects what you can see on the screen. The closest thing I can think of to what you’re looking for is something like VXGI, but to get the clarity you would want for ArchViz there would be a huge performance hit there. Try to use things like the box and planar reflection capture where you can, even adding things like that to the scene, if it’s only for reflections, will be faster than adding full realtime GI like VXGI offers.
