Real time assistansce with tethered DSRL

Hi,
I i wonder if there is a methode to use the real time assistance in reality capture, with a tethered DSLR camra?
I have a couple of objeckts thats is difficult to capture, and would be nice to check the overlap of the photos as i move along.
