Ray Tracing + Sprite = crash in 5.3

I can’t figure out why, but I’m getting a crash whenever I load a level with a sprite with ray tracing enabled. If I hide the sprite, no crash. I have no clue how to fix it. Any thoughts?

I switched to planes with light-emitting textures instead for now.

I too have this issue and am wondering how do we report it further? It’s easy to replicate the issue.

Confirmed. Lumen and Ray Tracing activated. If you have a sprite in your scene in 5.3.2, it will crash or eventually crash.

Work around is to not use sprites for now…hopefully they iron it out. Might be a material setting we don’t know about too which could easily fix it.
