Hi everyone. I’m having an issue with Quixel Bridge, it was working fine only yesterday.
Based on other forum posts I have done the following.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the bridge plugin via the vault. It says it’s installed.
I check plugins in the editor to enable bridge and it’s not there. Bridge also does not show under the little add button where you would usually see the option to add bridge content
I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled all versions of Unreal Engine and the Epic Games Launcher. Trying to start again with a completely clean install.
I’m using Windows 11, UE5.2
I’ve included screen shots which illustrate the problems I’ve been able to identify.
Hi, an update just dropped for Bridge in the epic launcher and this fixed the issue for me.
For anyone experiencing a similar issue I also received support from Quixel. Below is a screen shot of a solution i was sent which hopefully someone will find useful if something like this pops up again.
for me the update fixed the issue of bridge not showing but originally this issue seemed to mess with the preset’s default materials. after the update this is not fixed and I am not sure how to “reinstall” these presets.
does anyone else have this issue? this is preventing all materials from working
