Quixel Bridge Missing

Hi, I have just recently downloaded UE5 and I can’t seem to find Quixel Bridge. I have searched everywhere in the Editor and Epic Games Launcher. Is there a way to access this plugin? Appreciate the help.

Hey!

There was an issue relating to Quixel Bridge and new installations. This has since been resolved, but for those already affected, you should now be able to search for Quixel Bridge in your vault and install it to your Engine version. Please make sure your launcher is up to date and freshly restarted. :slight_smile:

Hello, It still doesn´t work for me. I tried complete reinstall of epic games launcher, UE5 and all those stuff 3times, and the Quixel is still missing, i dont know if there is something im doing wrong, but there is no Quixel in UE5 engine, Epic games vault or library. Is the issue still there or has it been fixed and im just missing something. Thank you

having the same issue, no quixel bridge here either…

If, after restarting your launcher, you still cannot locate Quixel Bridge in your vault, please reach out to me with a PM with your Epic ID / Email so that we can take a closer look at your account get this resolved.

Thanks!

@Shadowfax1013
I meet the same quetion.But I have tried how to solve it.You can get a new account and log in Epic Games Launcher.Then you can find Quixel Bridge in the vault and add the pluin to UE5.At last log out and go to use your old account.You will find Quixel Bridge in your project.
@SkyeEden
The problem happens to the old accounts .And the new accounts are OK.Even if I could solve the quetion with the method which I write above,but in fact,my old accout can’t search the Quixel Bridge in the vault after this operation.The core of the problem remains unsolved.

I still cant find Quixel Bridge in my vault and I also tried everything

The problem was entitlement not being granted to new installations and new users. So, with people creating new installations, they faced this issue. Whereas those that updated their 5.0 Preview 2 seemingly did not.

All 21000 people affected were granted the appropriate entitlements. This was a manual process, so likely, and some people may still face the issue or an issue related but not directly the same.

I appreciate how frustrating it is not to have a tool you wish to use or have used in your workflow, and we are working with folks to get them back on track. We are asking for the Epic ID / Email (in PM) to look specifically at users’ accounts to see what the problem is. If you have taken the steps suggested; Closing all UE applications, restarting the launcher (always good to continue your entire system, we’re all guilty of not doing that enough), and then searching your vault- the please do reach out via PM

Thanks!

@Ali_Sina @zhangchaoshui Upon restarting your launcher, you should now find Quixel Bridge in your vault, which can then be installed to your Engine version :slight_smile:

Thanks!

I have the same problem in UE5, can’t see the bridge plugin. Searched in vault but can’t see it either.

Don’t know if UE team did something for my problem, but today I was able to see Bridge in Vault and installed it in UE5 without any problems.

Works perfect!

If it was UE team, thank you :slight_smile:

Hey @SkyeEden I seem to have been having the same issue. Unable to find Quixel Bridge in the vault no matter what I update. Wanted to see if you could fix the issue for me too. Thanks,

@SkyeEden I seem to have the same issue, I am unable to find Quixel Bridge in the vault. I have reinstalled UE5 and done the whole thing of trying it while not signed in. Could you also fix the issue for me?

Hey, I cannot see Quixel Bridge on the Epic Launcher either. This is the first time using UE so I have not used Quixel in the past.

Thanks.

I have same problem. I already uninstall launcher and the engine twice. Search in Plugins and Vault million times yet it’s not visible anywhere. I also tried to dowland Quixel Bridge from official page and insert bridge plugin but it aslo dont work with 5.0.0 version.

@SkyeEden
Today it appeared in the vault but it looks like there are some other problems…
Inside the EPIC-launcher, in the UE library for all installed versions there stands “please wait” when trying to install bridge out of the vault I get the error: II-E1001.
I tried it by log off and on, also restarting the whole system, nothing did change.
The same happend after un-/installing the launcher.
Any ideas?

Thanks

Also a new user here, have enjoyed UE5 so far.

Sadly I am also unable to find the ‘Bridge’ plugin via the Vault or Edit->plugins in the Editor. I uninstalled and reinstalled the lancher today and it did not fix this. @SkyEden could you also update my launcher?

@anonymous_user_26fe622f1 @anonymous_user_cde91169 @swo_Op @Rekkolus @Hewott This should now be resolved for you; please completely close and restart your launchers- you should then find Quixel Bridge in your vault and be able to install to the Engine from there! :slight_smile:

Thanks!

This has usually been fixing itself. If it hasn’t, remove the Quixel/Megascan/Bridge content from your Engine plugins folder, and reinstalling has seemed to do the trick! :slight_smile:

Hi Skye,
