Hello, what’s the latest status of the Quick UMG Preview feature?
It’s been listed on the public roadmap for a while, but I haven’t seen any mention of it outside of this post, which also points to the View Model talk. This feature seems incredibly valuable and would certainly help speed up development on my team, so I’m very interested in learning more about the current status.

We pivoted away from the preview mode that was built into the UMG designer, but 5.5 includes an updated Widget Preview tool that can be accessed either by right clicking a widget or through creation of a Widget Preview asset. We’ve added a few additional feature for 5.6 as well to support different sizing rules, and if you have any suggestions (or run into any issues) then I’d be happy to pass those along to the team.

Thanks for pointing me that way Cody - I just tried this feature out in Lyra and it works super well. I also really like that there’s MVVM support too, which we rely heavily on.
I’ll have the team play around with it and will provide any additional feedback in a separate post.
