Hello there
I’ve made a model in reality capture, want to simplify it and when I get to click it, the error pops up: Invalid or corrupted input data. I have already checked the XML files and everything seems to be alright. I have restarted app settings (shift opening it), and I’ve done all the possible solutions I’ve found on the forums. But digging deeper I have found a camera pose named “???” and it has 0 tie points, unlike all the others. When I select that pose, to delete it, RC crashes and I can’t do anything with this current model right now. In fact, for almost every image I try to select I get RC crashing (I have about 1000 images, some of them crash the program, some of them don’t, it seems RNG to me - and I don’t suppose that the PC is the problem since it is a beefy one).
The only solution I can see right now is to start it all over again, from scratch. If that isn’t the case, could you please help me determine and solve the issue?
Hey Ondrej,
My files are all on one external SSD, which is constantly plugged in. I’ve already checked was the drive letter changed somehow, but it is the same as the input files drive letter, nothing is corrupted or changed.
There is only one image that is showing as “???” and I can’t click it because RC crashes when I try to do that. I have free space on the SSD and my C drive, since I thought maybe cache memory is filling up, but I am more than safe with space for cache.
If it helps, I could attach a photo later during the day just so you, and anyone joining, can see the problem.
Can you find out that image on your disc (as it is only one with question marks)? External SSD is not ideal for such workflow, as even a small disconnection could cause some issues.
Have you tried start from the scratch?
