Hello!
Is there a way to make Realityscan “Align Images” and “Merge Components” step deterministic?
By reading past forum messages from people asking about deterministic alignment, I’ve come to the conclusion that there’s no way to do that - but I’m happy to be proved wrong (also they’re quite old) [1] [2]
If it’s indeed not possible yet, how can I do a Feature Request for this deterministic process please?
By the way, COLMAP has also recently added fully deterministic reconstruction (via random seed parameter) so I think it might be a good consideration for RealityScan future work
