I’ve been cracking my head how to achieve something like this transition between grass and dirt in Dota 2. Is it possible at all to do it with landscape blend material?
I think you didn’t understand my question. I was asking about this kind of transition, which gives the illusion of depth, height difference between grass and dirt, with shadow.
The easiest way to do it would be with landscape tools. Use the flatten brush. Or you could do it with meshes. Then vertex paint them.
Without a clearer pic from other angles it’s kind of hard to determine the technique used.
