Push/Pull mechanics along a specific set axis in VR

Hi Unreal Community!

I am currently working within Unreal 4.18 and I was wondering if there was a tutorial for setting up a push/pull mechanic in VR using the Vive trigger to move an object not only along one axis, but setting up a limit for how far it can be pushed and pulled. I have downloaded a few different VR plugins and demo projects but I have found nothing that really explains it in beginner’s terms. Essentially what I want to do is to hold the trigger and move an object when moving the controller forward and backward along 1 axis while having physics activated at all times.

I am a bit of a rookie with the program so I apologize if this is a simple setup.
