Summary

Ever since I changed my map from Star Wars branding back to regular Fortnite, I haven’t been able to publish a single release. Every release gets a “Publishing Error” in the Creator Portal, even though I receive an email saying that the release has been approved.

Everything release worked properly while the map had Star Wars branding recently, but I have experienced the same issue(error in creator portal) in the past when the map used Squid Game, K-pop, regular Fortnite, and other themes.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Make map changes and memory calculation.
2. Create a new release in creator portal.
3. The release will get an error after a while, but approved in my emails.

Expected Result

The update should be published successfully and become the active version.

Observed Result

The update fails with a “Publishing Error” in the Creator Portal, and the previous version remains active, even though I receive an email saying that the release was approved.

I have been experiencing this problem for more than a year. I have made several posts about it before and have also commented on posts from other people who have experienced similar issues, but it still has not been fixed.

We are experiencing the exact same issue on two separate maps. Both are regular Fortnite islands, and the problem started immediately after we added the new LLM Conversation NPC feature.

Both releases passed content review and received the approval email, but Creator Portal still shows “Publishing Error” with no reason, and the updates never go live. The previous versions remain active.

Since LLM Conversations only became publishable with v41.30 today, this looks like a backend publishing issue connected to the new feature. Creating another release/private version did not solve it.

I’m having the same problem. However, in my case, it’s a new map developed specifically to use this LLM feature. I simply can’t publish it, even though it passes the content review.
