Publishing Error

Summary

I’m currently experiencing an issue when trying to publish an update for my island using UEFN.
Every time I submit a new release, I receive a “Publishing Error” in the Creator Portal stating: “Something went wrong during submission. Please try again by creating a new release.” However, shortly after, I receive an email confirming that the version has been approved. Despite this approval email, the update never goes live in the Creator Portal.
I have already tried the following:
Creating multiple new private versions
Making small changes before resubmitting
Attempting the process several times over the past few days

The issue persists consistently. Additionally, another creator I know is experiencing the same problem, which may indicate a potential server-side issue.
Could you please look into this and let me know if there is a known problem or if there’s anything else I should try?
Thank you for your time and support.

Publishing

Steps to Reproduce

Open UEFN and load the island project
Create a new private version of the island
Go to Creator Portal and submit a new release
Wait for the submission process to complete
Receive a “Publishing Error” message in the Creator Portal
Shortly after, receive an email confirming the version was approved
Check the Creator Portal and see that the update was not published

Expected Result

The new release should be successfully published in the Creator Portal after submission and approval, making the updated version of the island available to players.

Observed Result

After submitting the new release, the Creator Portal shows a “Publishing Error” message stating that something went wrong during submission. However, an approval email is still received shortly after. Despite this, the new version is not published and does not go live in the Creator Portal.

If you go into the technical tab, you will see that you have InfiniteLoop Runtime Errors. This is preventing you from publishing. You will need to resolve that. If you are still having trouble, it’s better to reach out to Epic Support so we can collect information, such as project IDs, to better investigate the specific issue. https://www.epicgames.com/help/creator-programs-c-202300000001640/fortnite-developer-c-202300000001741

Hey, thanks for the reply.

Those InfiniteLoop runtime errors appeared yesterday while I was doing some testing, but they are not related to this issue. The publishing error was already happening before those errors showed up.

I’ve been unable to publish new versions for several days now, even before any of those runtime errors occurred.

So I don’t think this is caused by the InfiniteLoop issue.

Hello Flak, It happens to me and i dont have any verse errors, I’ve been talking to my friend who’s having the same problem, and we both converted our islands to Star Wars, but then we reverted and switched back to Fortnite. Our maps have been published for a long time and this has never happened to us before. Also we cant appeal
