Published UEFN project lost locally – unable to restore from Revision Control

Summary

My local UEFN project files for EVOLVE RELOAD were accidentally deleted during a PC cleanup. The project is still published and appears as Online in the UEFN Project Browser, but UEFN can no longer find the local project location. I used “Check for Backup”, but no backup or revision was found. I need help recovering or reconnecting the original editable UEFN project.

Steps to Reproduce

Open UEFN Project Browser.
Select the published project EVOLVE RELOAD.
UEFN shows the project as Online but says the local project cannot be found.
Right-click the project and select “Check for Backup”.
No backup or revision is found.

Expected Result

UEFN should be able to locate an available backup, revision, or server-side project snapshot and restore/synchronize the original editable EVOLVE RELOAD project to my PC while preserving the existing Project ID, island code, releases, analytics, and publication history.

Observed Result

The project appears as Online in the UEFN Project Browser, but UEFN cannot find the local project files. When I use “Check for Backup”, no backup or revision is found, so I cannot open, edit, synchronize, or update the original published project.

Additional Notes

Project Name: EVOLVE RELOAD
Project ID: 82253af1-4205-715b-438c-c3b9648926be
Island Code: 2332-3464-5810

The local project files were deleted during a PC cleanup. The published island remains live and the project still appears as Online in the UEFN Project Browser. However, “Check for Backup” finds no backup or revision.

I am requesting recovery or reconnection of the original editable UEFN project associated with this existing Project ID. I do not want to create a new project or lose the current island code, analytics, releases, monetization history, or publication history.
