Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open the island in UEFN and verify that the textures and materials appear correctly in the editor.
  2. Publish the island and launch it in Fortnite.
  3. Join the published island and compare it with the UEFN version.
  4. Notice that many walls, floors, and surfaces appear with incorrect, missing, or default-looking textures/materials in the published version.
  5. Compare the published version to the editor version and see that they do not match visually.

Expected Result

The published island should look the same as it does inside UEFN, with the correct textures, materials, colors, and visual setup applied to all walls, floors, and props.

Observed Result

The published island does not match the UEFN editor version. In the live/published version, players see incorrect textures and materials on multiple surfaces across the map. Some walls and floors appear gray, missing textures, or using the wrong/default material, even though they look correct inside UEFN.

Additional Notes

This issue affects the published/playable version of the island and does not match the appearance inside UEFN.

I attached comparison screenshots:

  • one screenshot showing how the island appears to players in the published version
  • one screenshot showing how the island looks correctly inside UEFN

The issue seems to affect multiple surfaces across the map rather than a single prop or material. It may be related to texture/material loading, streaming, or cooking in the published build, because the editor version looks correct but the live island version does not.
