Public Matchmaking Bug: Unable to Join Public Lobbies - New Fortnite Maps

Summary

Players attempting to connect to my games, Brawl Box 3v3 and Brawl Box 5v5, are unable to do so due to the error: ‘Matchmaking Error #1, Unknown Error, Maybe Try Again?’ This means that no matter how much external advertising, marketing, or any form of promotion I do, my game will not pick up players. I’ve already troubleshooted the settings several times, and each time, the same result. (And yes, Custom Teams is not enabled with Dynamic Matchmaking)

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Search up 6609-0739-5824 or 0697-6104-5191 in the Fortnite Map Search
  2. Select the Island
  3. Set your matchmaking status to ‘Public’
  4. Attempt to play the game

Expected Result

The expected result is that the player downloads and joins the map without errors, hopefully within thirty seconds.

Observed Result

The observed result is a message appearing between 0:08 and 0:15, labeled ‘Matchmaking Error #1, Unknown Error, Maybe Try Again?’. This will continue each time you try to requeue.

BRAWL BOX 5 V 5 works!

BRAWL BOX 3 V 3 FAILS!

Failing in UK/GMT PUBLIC fails after 20 seconds.

Looking at the logs they are all the same Queue Full error

Now the island above has logged in something intermittent?

Wow, thank you so much for this :open_mouth:, I’m not too sure why it’s saying Queue Full error either. At one point, this map WAS playable (Brawl Box 3v3) so I’m not sure what happened…

Update: Both maps now work, not sure why they weren’t before. Thank you so much for the help!
