My apologies, I thought we had linked to the original thread. https://forums.unrealengine.com/t/fortnite-voice-bug-since-the-new-update/2609199
Fix is scheduled for 37.10, which should be next week.
Hey @Flak , this is great news! Really appreciate you pushing for this and giving us an actual patch number and timeline. It makes a huge difference for our community.
One quick question, just to be 100% sure: We know the 37.10 patch is for the voice chat bug, but can you confirm it will also cover the specific proximity chat failures (the high failure rate, hearing players across the map, etc.) that we documented in this thread?
Thanks again for all the help with this.
Hello, are you sure that this bug reported in relation to proximity chat was fixed in update 37.10? Because only this one is mentioned in the patch notes :
@Flak and @kalishane_eg
Yeah, just to add to what @arTnoo said, this bug definitely looks like its still not fixed for our community.
We ran a poll after the patch and the results are all over the place. You can also see from our player count today that the map hasn’t recovered at all.
There’s clearly still a big problem.
Also usually when a bug is fixed it says Fixed in the ticket and it will show in patch notes.
Can we get some confirmation about this issue, because its little bit confusing.
Thanks.
Have you removed the workaround? The issue was fixed and tested after the update was live.
