Summary
Hello Epic Team,
I’m a Fortnite island creator and I’m having an issue with the proximity voice chat system.
In Creative mode (test mode), the proximity voice chat works perfectly — players can only hear others who are near them.
However, after I publish or test the island in a playtest session, the voice chat becomes global, and all players can hear each other no matter the distance.
I’ve already tried adjusting the island settings (Voice Chat Mode = Proximity, Range = 50m, Team Chat = Off) and also tested a new empty island, but the same issue happens.
It seems to be a bug after the recent update.
Please check and fix this issue — it’s important for gameplay and immersion in my island.
Thank you!

Additional Notes
With all due respect, this situation is absolutely unacceptable. This is the second time I’ve asked for help, and yet I’ve received no response or attention from you!
I’m talking about a serious issue within Fortnite that’s completely disrupting the sounds on my island. This isn’t my fault at all, but rather a clear glitch within the game itself.
I’ve tried every possible means to fix the problem myself, filing reports and explaining in detail, yet no one even bothers to respond or attempt to help.
Is it reasonable that a player facing a problem of this magnitude is ignored without any support or follow-up?!
My island is about to be completely destroyed because of this glitch, and you’re standing by!
I demand a clear and swift response and an actual solution to the problem before it escalates further, because your continued silence is absolutely unacceptable.
