Proximity Chat / Attenuate Voice not functioning properly

Summary

As reported previously from other users, proximity chat is not consistently working in live versions of islands. In the island code below, users are able to hear voice fully across the island with the voice chat settings below. No, I’m not in party chat.

FORT-1032285 has been created and its status is ‘Unconfirmed’. This is now in a queue to be reproduced and confirmed.

It’s a bug that has been around for more than 3 months. My island is losing a lot of players because of this, and absolutely nobody is fixing it. I find it shameful. I’ve provided all the information they ask for (logs, etc.) here:

This line seems to be the key difference between when it works and doesn’t work for different islands. Even though I have all the proper settings it’s set to “VoiceChatChannelType=NonPositional SpatialMode=None RenderingMode=Default”

rather than: “VoiceChatChannelType=Positional SpatialMode=Proximity RenderingMode=DistanceAttenuation”

3 months and nobody fixing it …
