So I’m an animator working on a film in Unreal, but my compositor is asking me for passes that I don’t seem to have access to in Unreal and some of the output passes from sequencer don’t really make sense. He’s insisting on a Maya workflow.
I’ve finally figured out how to utilize stencil passes as an alpha matte. But what is the best metholody of getting lighting passes, GI, reflection etc.? Are these non-options presently?
If anyone has any compositing guides from UE to a post editor please share! I have browsed the forums and youtube and haven’t found any really solid examples.
