Project Zeds!: Asymmetric FPS RTS Zombie Mayhem

Hey guys, figured I’d start a thread for my project. Project Zeds is a first person shooter versus real-time strategy game currently in development for the PC. It features light role-playing game and multiplayer online battle arena mechanics and takes place in a world that is an homage to cult science fiction and horror films throughout the ages.
It’s still in the pre-prototype stages but I thought I’d share what I’ve got. Any comments or criticisms are welcome.

Working on building types for the game. C&C appreciated, but I’m not usually an artist so be gentle.

So I’ve made some improvements. I’ve been learning a ton about texturing and UV mapping lately. I feel like adding even a little color is a huge improvement. Let me know what you guys think.

This week I fixed a bunch of bugs and tried my hand at animated gifs. Let me know what you think.

This week I worked on adding the first zombie commander to Project Zesds!

I really dig the art direction you’re going for. A breath of fresh air in the stale zombie environment imo.

Looks pretty entertaining. How do you plan on implementing the RTS + FPS transitions?

There is no transition. It’s RTS versus FPS. You play the game either as a human(FPS) or as the zombies (RTS).

This week I worked on sculpting the first human base, the old church.

This week I textured the church asset and brought it into game.
