"Project Settings" menu missing in UEFN — cannot enable UEFN MCP Toolsets

Summary

UEFN does not show “Project Settings” anywhere in the Edit menu, so I cannot access the Beta Access section to enable “Python Editor Scripting” and “UEFN MCP Toolsets”, which according to Epic’s official documentation shipped for all UEFN projects around Aug 20, 2026. The Tools menu also has no “Model Context Protocol” entry, and Edit > Editor Preferences has no such section either. This is on a fresh UEFN install (downloaded 28 Aug 2026 via Epic Games Launcher), so it isn’t an outdated-client issue. I’m trying to enable UEFN MCP for my project “NeonRush” to connect an AI coding agent to the editor, but the entire settings path described in the docs seems to be missing from my install.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open UEFN, open project NeonRush
  2. Click Edit menu
  3. Look for “Project Settings”
  4. Also check Tools menu for “Model Context Protocol”

Expected Result

Project Settings window opens, containing a Beta Access section with “Python Editor Scripting” and “UEFN MCP Toolsets” toggles (per official UEFN MCP documentation, released Aug 20 2026).

Observed Result

“Project Settings” is not present in the Edit menu at all. Tools menu also has no “Model Context Protocol” entry. UEFN was installed fresh via Epic Games Launcher on 28 Aug 2026, so this is not an outdated-client issue.

Windows

Additional Notes

Project: NeonRush.
Is UEFN MCP Toolsets access behind a gradual/staged rollout tied to account eligibility, or should it be available to all UEFN installs as of the Aug 20 release? My Project Settings menu doesn’t show any Beta Access section at all, on a brand-new install.
