The status of FORT-815463 incident has been moved from ‘Needs Triage’ to ‘Ready for QA’. Resolution Reason: ‘Duplicate’

same, my current project doesn’t open. My older island full of stuff and brand new island open fine

same here

same here cannot open the project. It was about 90k memory and 70% project size if that helps

Switched to dx11 and it fixed it

same issue here map loads and then crashes when load in complete.

same here. rtx 3060ti 8gb

How did you switch do DX11?

Search UEFN in your library and click the 3 dots in the bottom right corner. Add -d3d11 to the launch options. It worked for me. This is NOT supposed to be a fix. It is only a temporary solution until they fix it.

Finally in, thank you!!

Same problem here. win 11.

Did the “-d3d11” “fix”. It does let me open the level. But my level looks very different (in a very bad way). I have reverted this fix and am waiting for a proper fix.

This is the UEFN loading error (not loading any map). Related to “Fort_UI_Sounds” it seems.

hi all,
This is similar to another post and posted possible solution

Opening project crashes UEFN - General / Issues and Bug Reporting - Epic Developer Community Forums

-d3d11 is working, but UEFN now runs at about 4-5 FPS, including the UI. Running this on a 12-core ryzen, 3090, and 128GB RAM setup

hi @Graphicsurfer

Maybe you still have shader model 6 enabled.
Add -sm5 after the DirectX11 command -d3d11 and that will use the older but more efficient shaders model 5

UE 5 UEFN Do you have Nanite or Lumen enabled .If so disable these
