Product-level M4A1 Weapon Mesh pack are coming to marketplace!

Did you forget to include the blueprints? I cannot find them anywhere.

Actually, the pack is all about a weapon mesh. We added some additinal stuff like 1p character and blueprints just for customers to preview the weapon functions and effects. So we suggest you to implement our pack files to ShooterGame project to have a quick preview. Thus, all 3p character, skeleton, animations are all from ShooterGame. As for 1p animation, we will try to make it compatible with statndard Epic skeleton (4.6 above). Thank you for your advice!

Thank you for your concern. At begining, we were only intend to release a weapon mesh which is modified for UE4 and have common functions (such as customizable material instances, sockets, etc.), but with no arm mesh or 1p animation. However, we thought it would be cool to have those additional stuff for customers to preview the final effects and functions of the weapon. So, we added our arm mesh, animations, sounds, particles, blueprints as well. These are all designed to quickly fit ShooterGame project and are for preview only. But we do understand that customers may would take them as a part of the pack and try to use them in their project right away. And they may feel disappointed to find some problem such as animations are not compatible with the standard skeleton or blueprints are just compatible with ShooterGame 4.6 version. Therefore, we supply a download link to our weapon mesh .max source fire which contains all 1p animations we made for the weapon (the link can be found in the first post of this thread). Customers can export the bip animation to use in their character. Also, we will try our best to make imporvement in future update or future releases, mybe by releasing a standalone project with standard animations, blueprints, 1p arm mesh and 3p character mesh as a part.

Suggestion when selling a saved version for distribution you have an option to save to an earlier version of 3ds Max. Not everyone has 2015 and to convert the model to my 2013 version I had to download the trial.

No big deal but would make things a bit more easier.

can the scope be removed?

So far, it can’t be removed.
In next pack, we will make all attachment customizable.

can u make an update to this pack to make it removable? the ammo can be removed right? (from video)

how do i set this up in my game i have added to a socket but i dont know how to implement the animations and firing. I am using the third person template.

There is a weapon mesh without clip and an independent clip mesh in the pack.

To make your own game, you should follow some tutorials like this: Introduction to Third Person Blueprint game or this: 3rd Person Game with Blueprints

We plan to make attachment removable in the next pack.
However, you can make everything removable with the source files: fbx file
