I created a landscape layer blend material and painted it onto the landscape but the texture did not appear just its generic color, a video said click on the tiling thing in the material inst but I can’t find it can you help me?
Hey there @LCMJMC! This can sometimes stem from your textures sampler space needing to be set to Shared:Wrap. Though it’s possible you’re having another issue. Give this video a try and if that fails I have a couple of questions to help determine the issue!
May I know your specs and Engine version?
Are your shaders 100% done compiling?
Is any of your terrain receiving the paints?
Do your landscape paint layers show up named correctly with a preview in the landscape tool?

I have a 3070, I think a 6 core CPU but i’m not sure. If it helps I can run electric dreams well.
I am on UE5.3. The only on screen notification is, Landscape: 64 actors with physical materials need to be rebuilt. Also I tried to rebuild the landscape but it won’t go away.
I painted the materials onto the landscape. They show up named perfectly in paint layers. I hope this helps. I suspect it may have something to do with the notification.
Also the video does not solve it the chunks are showing.
Hmm, alright since changing the sampler over didn’t work out, we’ll clear the physics material issues first though they shouldn’t prevent material builds. Just to make sure, you mentioned rebuilding the landscape, you did it through this build menu correct?
If that is the case, another method of resolving that error is applying a new physics material over the landscape, saving, closing the project and relaunching.
I originally rebuilt the landscape using the details panel but I used the build menu, nothing happened and the notification is still there. What do you mean by a new physics material?
