I created a footstep sound system for my first-person character in my current project, using Notifies in the Running animation for the character. Because I didn’t plan to have the character’s arms be visible, I deleted them from the character’s Blueprint instead of leaving them set to invisible in the rendering Details. Once I did that, however, my footstep sound system stopped working. Have tried adding new skeletal meshes but can’t get that sound system to work again. Wondering what I need to do to fix it, because I can’t undo the deletion at this point; project was already saved and exited before realizing that problem was occurring. I’d like to know how to fix this.
NOTE: The last dozen questions I have posted on here have all gone unanswered, except for two which I answered myself eventually. Not sure what the point of doing this is if nobody will ever help. So if you do know the answer to my problem, please help. Thank you if you do.
