Problem with materials for mesh

Summary

When assigning a material to a particular skeleton mesh, the material doesn’t change and the character remains colorless and so it is with absolutely all the characters and animals I import from sketchfab, as an example and not only. Maybe some feature is enabled?

UI/Tools

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open UEFN and create a new project.
  2. Import or use an existing Skeletal Mesh.
  3. Assign a material to the mesh via Details Panel → Materials.
  4. Apply and Save.

Expected Result

After assigning a material to a Skeletal Mesh, the material should correctly apply, and the model should display with the assigned texture.

Observed Result

After assigning a material, the object remains untextured (appears as a gray mesh). The issue occurs with all materials and all meshes in the project, including newly imported assets. I would like to point out that all individual materials were assigned correctly, and I am also attaching screenshots as proof.

Just throwing this out there, in the materials themselves do you have “Used With Skeletal Mesh” turned on?
