Problem with DX12

Hi,

I am having a weird artefacts when using DX12 (some sort of blinking black patches), the problem is gone when I switch to DX11 or Vulkan.
The problem is visible only in VR, the viewport preview is fine.

Any idea what’s causing it?

Sadly, I don’t have an answer to your question but I would suggest posting more info about it so others might be able to help.
This can be a rendering bug within engine - probably related to ilumination or some shader.

You already specified that this issue happens when using DX12 and VR Preview, but…
Are you using lumen or raytracing?
Is this happening for every material and for every type of light source ?
Could you provide a screenshot that shows the same scene when the issue is not there (for comparison purpose) ?
If this is only happening to a single material, could you provide a screenshot of its shader graph?

With all the info, the best thing to do is to look for this issue on Unreal Engine Issues and Bug Tracker (Search Results), and if it’s not there, creating a bug report would be awesome.
