Problem with checking in

Summary

My team mate has been working on a project that he’s synced to latest on. But, after making significant changes he was unable to Check In the project due to it saying “checkouts by other users need to be cleared to submit” at the bottom of the confirm submit window.

However there are no files checked out by other users in the project which is confirmed when looking at the outliner - there’s no actors with locks by them.

Wondering if there’s a fix for this?

Unreal Revision Control

Steps to Reproduce

Not sure as its the first time seeing this issue…

Expected Result

Should be able to check in or at least see conflicting assets if there was any. URC seems bugged in thinking files are checked out even though its by the user trying to check in

Observed Result

Doesn’t allow you to check in

Platform(s)

PC

Just responding here too since we chatted in Discord to get to the bottom of this - this report was due to the .uefnproject file needing to be checked in after a UEFN version upgrade.

Once the user who holds the lock checks in the version upgrade the team should be unblocked.

A better way to confirm this is by looking at the files in the submit window that have a red lock icon.

(project administrator can right click on them and use Revision Control → Unlock to force unlock them)
