Hi, the texture quality in the result is 100%. For textures were used just laser scans or also images? Is the model wrong or textures here?
i have this, the quality of texure is better than the first model, but still does not convince me…
texture only photo
RCs realtime viewport can render upto one 16k texture. If you have more textures you have to render an image or use the clipping box to display a smaller area.
I would like to understand what are the best parameters to create a satisfying texture.
having a texture quality value of 407% it should be great, but if I zoom up to 10 cm, the quality is not satisfactory.
now i tried with 807%, with a texel size of 0.001m., but the program crashed telling me it is out of memory.
even though the texture utilization parameter is 74% -
can i understand the difference between texture utilization and texture quality?
The texture quality depends on the inputs. Also, where are you looking at the texture? In RealityCapture or in some external software?
These numbers are quite big, you just need to keep them around 100%. Can you show me your texture settings? Not just result of texturing…
Texture utilization is just how much of each texture file has texture on it. you can drag your textures on to a 2d to see this, for instance this texture has a utilization of 61%. So 61% of the texture is banana and 39% is black:
Using fixed texel size is the best way to achieve 100% texture quality when it is set to optimal, it will create exactly as many textures as you need in your chosen style to achieve 100% texture quality.
We recommend to use these settings:
i have upload the mesh (407%) in cc and the results is fantastic, i think that rc don’t show the full texture…
in cc is very good- fantastic.!!
