I’m creating a VR project on Ireal, for this I’m using Meta’s Oculus Rift. I use Unreal 5.3, so I’m using the OpenXR plugin to configure the Oculus Rift. But I’m having a problem, because it’s not recognizing the OCulus rift touch inputs. I’ve tried everything, does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this?
I want it to recognize the touch of the glasses (hand) as an input for “axis mapping”
Did you ever find a solution to this? I’m having a similar problem. In Unreal 5.4, using OpenXR, I can’t get it to recognize the Oculus Rift touch when running OpenXR through the Meta Quest Link desktop app. However, it works fine if I open up SteamVR, set that to the default OpenXR and use the Oculus Rift.
The problem only occurs with Oculus Rift. It works fine with Meta Quest 3 through Meta Link, Meta Quest 3 as a standalone APK Android build, and on the Valve Index.
After more searching, it appears my issue was something related to Meta’s recent update for the Meta Quest Link desktop app, which breaks support for Oculus Rift CV1 touch controllers. It doesn’t seem to be just limited to Unreal games either.
