Summary

I get this error when I try to attempt a private upload/memory cal.

I’ve seen some forum posts indicate this a moderation issue, but I can’t find anything that would violate guidelines. I’ve also tried syncing back to previous snapshots and have had no success on ones that have previously been able to be uploaded.

Just want to bump this thread. We’ve been blocked on this for 4 days now and are at a complete stop on development. Really frustrating to have such poor error messaging

@Stevie-Moon @HalcyonKnight96 is there any update on this or any way to check in on it?

This is getting to be a bit ridiculous that we’re completely blocked from publishing with no explanation or remediation steps. I can’t even find any documentation on this error. It’s been days now.

Have you tried opening a ticket with Player Support about this issue?

Since your island is Mafia themed, I wonder if there are any particularly “mature” textures or assets. (Or, assets viewed out of context that could trigger an island moderator to lock it?)

What sort of things do players do in Mafia City?

I’ve opened a ticket with player support but haven’t heard back

Players buy businesses and buy houses. We have a dance club, arcade, weapon factory, oil rig, and mining business. We also have an army base that players deliver supplies to.

I’m not sure what would be getting flagged by moderation because it just started recently and when I sync to prior versions where we were fine, I’m having issues with those now

I’m still failing. We have renamed all of our assets and removed anything suspicious. I have no route to resolving this.

I’m really at a loss here and haven’t heard anything from Epic on my player support ticket or any of the threads.

Tagging some extra staff for visibility—sorry for the direct mentions, but we’ve spent ~6 weeks on this game and are now ~2 weeks in dealing with this issue and rapidly losing faith that we’ll ever be able to get it released.

Just wanted to bump this thread in case anyone has any other insight. We’re pretty burnt at this point trying to get this released. At this point, we’re likely going to just drop the game/platform if we can’t solve it this week.

This is a constant problem in maps that use Fab assets I think. We have one too that just is impossible to resolve as what is this??

There won’t be a map code because it’s failing to upload.

We’ve “resolved” this by removing some Fab assets we put in. Aren’t these assets supposedly to be able to be used in our games without issue?? How do we resolve this without removing them?

Nope. Doing a memory calculation causes it to fail again.

Can a community member please reach out to explain why this old error resurfaced? We’ve been declined publishing without any context and have been smacked with the same error resurfacing seemingly out of nowhere…also without context.

As a UEFN creator team, we want to deliver fun experiences to this community but the lack of support and context has been discouraging.

We tried uploading today and were able to get past this original issue. But upon uploading we ran into another error below:

We tried publishing a new release and again we ran into the original issue AGAIN. Yet we didn’t make a single change to the map…
