Prevent engine from rebuilding itself on Linux

Hi, I have recently downloaded the Unreal Source and built it on Linux to be able to use it. However I’m encountering a very problematic issue.

Basically, everytime I create a project and that I try to open its UProject file, it asks me to build its library, which is normal, however when clicking ok to let it build the library, it doesn’t just try to build the library but the entire engine

I have thankfully set the engine directory as read only to prevent it from rebuilding itself, however it shows a big issue in the workflow on Linux and to be fair, it really feels weird that it is trying to rebuild the engine when just creating a project the intended way by just creating the project from the editor and opening its .uproject

How you installed the engine?
