Summary
So ive been recently discovering animation in hud device widgets and ive been having a play about and have had some good success. (Great feature well done Epic Games)
I have created 2 widgets both that will play an animation.
Image 1 will be widget 1
Image 2 will be widget 2
I am unsure if this is intended or due to it being a newish feature but they seems to be some weird way to play an animation. In this case having a text block and having a condition to check the size of the text and play an animation. This seems crazy to me and they should just be a PlayAnimation option. Why this is like this seems like it was rushed out of development imo.
Anyways when the condition is on both widgets the animation plays but for some reason if they are on the same Hud layer number the 2nd Hud device will auto show the animation even if not called to show via device/verse after the first animation is complete
I assume this would keep showing any on the same layer but i only tested 2

Steps to Reproduce
Create 2 animation Hud widgets and set on a Hud device with the same layer and only show the one device using verse
Expected Result
It shouldn’t play the 2nd animation
Observed Result
It shows the second animation
