Postprocessing UMG

Been trying quite a lot to get postprocessing on UMG elements to work properly.
Trying the community tutorial, does indeed give me post processing on UMG, but there’s some issues with this approach.

First the colors aren’t correct. Here is an example where the upper half of the color bar is the plain widget added to viewport, and the lower half is the postprocessed widget:


Secondly, when moving the camera, it seems like motion blur is affecting the post processed widget, distorting the widget.

This forum post from an engine contributor, led me to try to do it with a retainer material, but nothing renders when doing the retainer material like this:


I really dont want to use a retainer box for all my graphics, since its corrupts center aligned text rendering, along with other bugs, and adds an extra render target, which adds rendering load.

My objective is to get a post process workflow where the starting point with no post processing effects applied, is the same as the widget added to the viewport.

Anyone succeded in that?
