Post Processing Performance Impact

Hello! Today, I was playing Unreal Tournament and was wondering why my frames kept dropping. I thought maybe it was because my computer wasn’t powerful enough (I was playing on DM_Outpost23) so I went into the settings and turned down the shadow quality. Surprisingly, this didn’t help as much as I thought it would (I got a couple frames back) so I cranked it back up to Epic. So I was thinking about how complex the meshes must be and thought I’d look by switching to Wireframe mode using the ~ key. While looking, I saw a command called “Show PostProcessing” so I tried it out, and after it was disabled, my frames never dropped below 60. I then re-enabled Post Processing and changed the Post Process Quality to low and saw that I could keep a solid 60 FPS unless Post Processing was set to above low or medium. Anyways, will Epic be improving and optimizing their post processing system soon? I’d really like to know. Thanks!
